hmmm How much would one of these cost :P I would have to plan way ahead though, as NC to PA is a very nice drive. how about a 4.11 ? and how much of a difference are we looking at going from 3.70 I believe to 4.11 or 4.44 ?

You'd have to talk to YT about that one

if you are changing the diff just for gear ratios and you don't "have" to, I would get the 4.44 just because its that bad ass. I could do the whole swap using your transmission for 1200

$300 for the diff. Scale on a one to ten....11 for anyone who is not a certified tech.

9 for anyone who is. It is extremely hard and time consuming to pattern the gears for the front diff. Sometime you will get it right away... others is well... another story

It is most definately not an easy task. YT got it done pretty quick I think, but if I were to try and do it, my car would still be apart for another week or so.

BTW - Tom its still making that sound that it was making when it was just finished. Still sounds the same though.

Oh yeah Tom, what do you think about FWD 4.44 5Speed??

It pulled rather nicely for a FWD, but the wheelspin would be a buzzkill for me in a daily.

It was fun though .

The only wheelspin I EVER get is if I mash the throttle from a stop and turning. There's a little less spin when going straight. But if they do start spinning, they get warm and grip like no other.

It's not like I thought it would, like wheelspin from a stop at normal accel, none at all. In fact everything feels grippier than before.

As long as it stays the same I can honestly say its gonna be normal. If it was going to be an issue it would be already to be honest

To be the only FWD 5speed 4.44 SVX also

Plus it'd be about 200lbs lighter than AWD
