5.1? that seems kinda low, what kind of power is OT putting to the wheels? Oh you know what though, you've got the stock 4eat, maybe my statement is pointless.

Edit: If I remember correctly OT did a 4.9 with 4.44's so you shouldn't be to much behind him.

g-techs are consistent but not always accurate. So if he was using the same one from Ot's car you would seem the difference... Also the 3.545 gears are slowing him down off the line

Covered the 3.545 part, anybody know what kind of power OT is putting to the wheels?

Please bear with me, as I'm an SVX NOOB.

From the few engineering drawings I've seen the powertrain in the SVX is tilted up 20-30deg. Using new mounts, and a dry sump oiling system, COULD the powertrain be leveled out? This would gain a LOT of clearance for more mods.
How much would this affect the engine, especially the oiling & cooling systems?
Just looking for info to help out the guys wanting to hunt "Z" cars

OT is making good power... He should be doing about the same I am in my silver... Sicksubies car is a whole different animal... I am due on finishing my new motor (I put sicksubie's together) and finally getting that going too...

As for the driveline Q... No, the trans would not fit if you leveled the engine... The front cannot go down anymore and the rear cannot go up... just not room... BTW sicksubie's car and mine will shred most z-s out there... My bro's Z will be the first victim and the drag strip

Haha, yeah I know you're being sarcastic... duh!! I just never go into the MOD section cause it makes me want to spend money... Morny I don' thave... So most of the time when I am here I just browse the Wanted/For Sale Forum or this Forum... Same thing on NASIOC... I hardly EVER leave the SouthEast section...

Cool, so they are LAN's parts? Nice

Dont forget OT's car is considerable lighter thean mine too. His glove box door alone weighs less than me.

Ah but his glovebox door is still a solid pound heavier than the door on the racer plus his glove box itself is a lot smaller (though it does have an opening door and separation between the floorboards).

uhmm I blew my power steering system yesterday. Dunno what part yet but drove home with ps fluid flying around the engine bay and smoking nicely. There is a timing issue from idle to 2500rpms, but I am gettting another version of software that should correct that. Then it will be a 1/4 mi. run and then I wil head back to the dyno. Should be over 300whp then
