370cc fuel injectors

Hey, I've been thinking about picking up a set of 370cc fuel injectors to use on my SVX later on down the road. What cars have 370cc fuel injectors that will work on the SVX? I have heard Nissan sr20 red top, turbo 300zx, 90-94 Legacy turbo, And a Infiniti Q45. Any others? Certain ones better than another? I would like to buy one matching set that had enough injectors to use on SVX. I don't really want to buy two sets from a 4 cylinder just to have enough. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Hiya,

The skyline RB25 engine uses 370's not sure how early in the R33 model years but the R34 GTT does for sure ( I had to replace 2 on a 99)

HKS and most of the Japanese tuning companies do an after market injector, probably best to keep an eye on ebay, anyone who is going over 300bhp will usually be going for 420/440's. You will need a 255 high flow pump and regulator for best results.

Just curious why you want to go with bigger injectors on an SVX, they appear to be pretty much up to the job of pushing 300bhp or do you have different sizes to the JDM?

I think it was proven fairly recently Q45 injectors do not fit.

I was curious because 370cc injectors are the ones that ECU tune recomends to use with 2v7 chip and Z32 MAF. I am also planning to completely build my motor and turbo or s/c it down the road. Thats not until I pick up my second SVX though. Thanks for the replies.

I did a lot of research on this. the only injectors that will work are the Nissan 370cc purple top ones, from a 95-96 300ZXTT or a 200SX with the SR20DE or SR20DET motor. Thats about it.

They have to be the injectors with a purple top. If you go with 300ZXTT injectors, they need to have a green dot on the plastic. There was a P/N# change half way through 95, and it needs to be later P/N# part marked with a green dot. Nippon Denso manufactured the injectors. Not sure if they will work, but after market Bosch injectors for the 300ZXTT have very similar specs.
Also a note, I think the only model that has the N62 MAF is the 300zx line. Not positive though.

I have 2 extra injectors from a JDM motor if some one is in need of just two, and a N62 MAF with a broken housing, but could still work if you are using a cone filter.

Thank you for your replies Upnorth362. You pretty much answered all my questions with your two posts on the subject. Did you ever actually install some 370cc injectors in your car? Or were you just do research because you were planning on it?

Glad to have helped. There is a sea of info out there, and not many life rings I did indeed install the injectors and MAF but built my own select monitor, and programmed my own ROM. Still a few bugs in the software, but longassname has put together a great software package with his stage two ROM.
Good Luck

Here is the link to a set on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting
