Oem Wheel Set - New Powder Coated - 4 Sale

SVX Powder Coated Wheels 001.jpg

SVX Powder Coated Wheels 002.jpg

SVX Powder Coated Wheels 004.jpg

I am selling a set of 4 OEM factory Wheels that are in 100% perfect refinished condition. They have recently been completely powder coated and the plastic center caps were painted to match. Both the powder coated wheels and center caps were clear coated to shine. These will never chip, peel or flake. They are a silver grey color and look fantastic. See the attached pics.
Asking $750 or best offer. Will ship UPS from North Carolina. Paypal or you can send a money order. PM me if you want my cell #. Thanks, Wayne

Selling the wheels only, not the tires. They are slightly darker than they appear in the pictures. Most companies who do powder coating would never spend the time to match the center caps. It's a fantastic deal for those who want new looking OEM wheels.

That's okay...I'd rather have his backward ones than the mismatched ones on my ride....I have both sets of color coded ones....gray and silver.

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX Classic SVX
Are they a refinished in a generic silver powdercoat or matched to the OEM color?

You say your wheels in the above photo are darker than they appear in the pictures.
This photo is the stock factory "Bright Silver" color used on the 94-97 SVX. Are yours similar to this?

Transwheel Corporation did my wheels. They used the stock factory paint color as the base and a
heavy clear powdercoat on top.

The above photo was taken last fall. These wheels were refinished over four years ago.
Like you said, no bubbling, flaking or chipping. Easy to clean with just soap and water.

Thanks, I do know that 2 wheels are backwards. A friend mounted them for me and since he was kind enough not to charge me , I didn't get worked up as I was switching the wheels anyhow. Life is way too short to burst a blood vessel over every tiny thing. I play with the SVX because I enjoy it not because I have to.
I had the wheels done locally by a powder coater in North Carolina.
It's not so much that they are darker it is harder to see the metal flake in the picture.
They are a generic silver grey. They do look similar to the wheel in your picture but with a little sparkle in the flake. By the way, your wheels do look fantastic and transwheel did a great job.
Yes, the set does include 2 left wheels and 2 right wheels.
Make me a reasonable offer and they can be yours.

A backwards wheel could also mean a backwards tire, if it is of the directional type.

Thanks,
The tire is mounted correctly. My friend was just not paying attention when he grabbed the wheels to mount. He was so busy checking the direction of the tires, he forgot to check the wheels. Most people here have never even seen an SVX, I have only seen two others myself and one was in San Diego, CA at a MotorX race.

You don't need to have ever seen one to see that the front and back wheels are different directionally.

Thanks, I am really sorry to hear what happened to your car, it's a pitty I didn't get to see the car before they destroyed it. Hopefully you can get it back together. Tim is a great guy and I am sure he will help you any way he can. If you go talk to him, he may help you work on it in exchange for cleaning up his shop every week.

The Wheels are still for Sale. $500 plus UPS shipping. A smoking deal for half the price Transwheel charges, and you get to keep your original set. I am sure someone out there would love this set.
