Airsoft anyone?

Anybody here have any airsoft guns? I just bought one tonight, it looks pretty cool.

I was gonna get a nice electric Desert Eagle replica but after trying to order it,
I got an error message saying they no longer had it in stock.

My sons, Dave and Nick are into it.
Every Saturday for a while now a group of them go out into the cold and play in fields/woods/ and in an abandoned factory building.

There are two buildings. One is very open with 30' or so foot ceilings, and multipal smaller rooms off to the sides, originally used to repair trains.
And the other has two stories, a flat roof, and a basement, all covered in collapsed debris.
And of course they HAVE to climb onto the roof.

If you are feeling actual PAIN... I would re-assess the field I was going to... There is nothing wrong with a few bruises here and there. And it only hurts for a second.

if you really want to get into the good stuff with airsoft.. you need to get a gas blow back (gbb). is a compressed gas powered 1:1 scale and weight gun that uses the gas to "blow back" the slide and cycle the action.. therefore giving you semi-auto/ full-auto capabilities. yes, they are more expensive, but woohooo.

It does not hurt that bad. Trust me, it’s the part of running through the fields and such makes you out of breath. I was worried how much it would hurt and it tingles a bit. You do forget the pain while you’re out there having fun. I do recommend trying. The sting that comes with the paintball goes away.

nope, I wear gloves... and not armored paintball gloves or anything, just a pair of leftover mechanics gloves from my USAF days... You gotta be smarter than the paintball!!

In my youth we had actual BB gun fights. Now that smarted quite a bit when you got hit. Also, quite dangerous and not recommended for anyone today. We did wear goggles, but that still left a lot of vulnerable areas.

I am not surprised that some of our wussy youths of today think that paintball is to painful. Sign of the times--I think.
