AutoX Vids!

My friend took some vid of 2 of my runs. Hope you guys enjoy! Next time I'm going to try and figure out a way to mount the camera inside (until I get a chase cam).

Part 2

Holy crap........
I want to autox were you do. I've never see one that long and fast. Most of the ones I've been to never have any straights longer then 20ft.

Sometimes they're nice and open and then others they're tight and technical. It all depends on what club is hosting the event. but they're all the same length. Gotta love having a Pro Football Stadium!

I've run a FedEX Field (Redskins Stadium) and theres is the longest I've been to, but it looks like it's about half the size of the one in your video. What kind of times do people average. Around here the pros take low 40's to run the course.

I didn't look at the speedo... sorry. But I did stay in 2nd so I didn't go much over 50. I'm still learning what to do when so my times/speed are slower than the other guys. I keep forgetting the 6MT is a close ratio and that 2nd-3rd isn't that much different and 3rd pulls better.

Mike,
Some of the other guys were going from high 40s-mid 60s. The shifter karts usually kick ass out there. The other ESP car that showed up he was running 50s I think.

Kerry,
See if your video guy can set up in a location where he can zoom in on your car. Can't say I can tell much about how your car is behaving from the current videos - just to far away from the action.

Bill,
I didn't even know he took the vids. He took them on his little Sony Cybershot Digital Camera, lol. My normal photographer should be at the next event. He was out doing skeet shooting instead of AutoX. I plan on getting a chase cam to play around with.

Awesome course. It's about 4x bigger then what we are able to get.

Now why would anyone want to take pictures of skeets?

Yeah, hind sight is 20/20... Luckily I get 11 months of racing so I'll get plenty of seat time!
