I think they may be hinting at a EJ20T or '04 EJ25T Engine and drivetrain. They'd have to swap the hubs for this to work tho... Just my .02

Ya wouldn't want to go through the trouble of swapping out the hubs for ones just to fit stock WRX wheels... Those things are smaller than Stock SVX wheels... about an inch narrower actually...

We would have went with wider tires but they weren't cheap. no they aren't JDM but they are 5x100... They will fit on our car but none of you are complely correct...

I wish we could fit brembos under those wheels, the clearances on my car are tight enough, and I have 17in bbs wheels. They aren't going to be brembos, the front are going to be four pots and the rear are going to be two pot brakes.

So I guess the "trick" is a single tailpipe
Cool.

Oddly enough, I was looking for those wheels to get a similar conversion rolling. LOL

Please explain to me how you get 5x100 wheels to fit on 5x114.3 hubs??... I mean I might be stupid, but I bet if someone tried to do that they would look like a 2 yearold trying to force the "round plastic thing into the Square hole".... But I would like to watch you put those on the first time... so let me know where you live so I can come by and laugh....

They could be swapping hubs... which is not uncommon with the older subarus in order to get good wheels.

yes but in order to swap the hubs, the imprezza suspension needs to be utylized as well as the brakes. The brakes would be a good thing but the suspension is what worries me. They are different not only in mounting to the hubs but the height of the struts is different as well. I wish them all the luck in the world as it sounds like they have a pretty wicked car brewing

The least of our wories is making the wheels fit, and no we aren't stupid We know they won't fit on the 5/114 lugs. They will fit on our car though, and we have the suspension worked out, A little help from our friends at tein will fix the lenght difference... And the trick in the back is not a single tailpipe, There will be 2 tailpipes with the stock tips. The trick is something to do with the paint and body...

seems like you are doing a lot of work. Have you invested any time and thought into modifying the engine at all?? Are you sticking with the stock tranny or upgrading?
