Where did you get the 1600 figure?

Nevermind. It's at the very beginning.

Big intercooler, shame it's useless in that video. Or am I the only one that noticed the lack of tubing?

If I buy a STI the first thing to go is the engine, and a eg33 is going in in its stead.
With two huge turbos, wastegates and the such. well, kind just like this:

I don't think the turbos are hooked up either... there's NO tubing to the intercoolers or turbos.

I don't know a lot about turbos and their ratings, but the text at the beginning of the video suggests to me that the turbocharger is capable of 1600hp, not that the engine actually produces 1600hp.

its the first time starting the motor and that should be enough info to explain everything else, the turbo is hooked up, loooks to be a true T88(full 88). but they are merely running a speed density system and arent trying to boost the car, but run it and make sure everything fires copeseticly. they are working on it and i definetly cant wait to see more.

the exhaust is a dump right out the driver side of the car, its wrapped and you can see that its definetly not restrictive.

I meant the restiction of the unused turbo. Sorry I should have been more specific. I'm just being sarcastic do to the fact that there claiming 1600hp and the thing isnt even finished yet. Dont claim a HP number ontil you can back it up with measured proof. It may very well be 1600hp when done. But maybe not. See were I'm coming from?

Ya know... it is kinda funny... I just sold my origional spare engine to Jerry, the owner of Deadbolt Speed Racing... He is sending it to a company to have the deck closed and a bunch of other work done to the block and heads... Then he is going to take it back to his shop ( His company builds turbochargers ) and spank it up to around 1,500hp... Then throw it into a yellow WRX that he has been building and attempt the speedrecord for a 4-door, AWD, 6 cylinder car at the bonniville Salt flats in 2008

Keep an eye out for it!!... I'll be sure to get pictures of the engine when it is finished

Damn... Parts from my car are becoming really famous!! My Origional Auto was in the ES-X Drag car and lasted a whopping 2 runs before it blew up... Now my origional engine is gonna power what could possibly be the world speed record breaker WRX in 2008!!! I can't wait!!!

says that the video was uploaded yesterday so i'm guessing this video was taken by the new owner because on ebay there was no fuel system and in the video its clearly running
