Bill,

I know the driver of that Forester. He's the brother of my co-driver's girlfrend. His name is Patrick and he's only 16. The reason he had so many people in the car, is that he just got his learner's permit and isn't legally able to drive a car w/o a registered driver in the car. His mom is in the backseat, and I think one of his friend's rode upfront. Cool kid!

This is my fav pic that the photographer snapped of my car during the Challenge Round:

I didn't see any pics of my car or Ben's during the wet conditions in Heat 3. I'm not sure if any Heat 3 pics were taken???

Here are some of my fav pics of my SCCA buddies...

My co-driver Shawn in action:

My SCCA region buddy and winner of D-Stock, Justin:

Btw, my co-driver ended up running the fastest time by a D-stock car in the dry with a 46.8 in my car!!! And that was done on 235 RA-1's as opposed to the 245 V710's that Justin was on (Justin's fastest was a 47.0 in the dry).

I didn't give that one to Dave otherwise he would've been 4 seconds faster than you. I knew as long as it was wet I wouldn't do anything as I can break the front free on a dry concrete surface with Azenis up front. Rain and Sumitomos aren't gonna make acceleration any better.

Times were a little high for both as we use it as a tire warming event (brand new tires that haven't been heat cycled) as I think Bill did as well. Just putting on decently aged stickies will give ya a couple clicks on the second hand. I know when we put ours on they still had the stickers on 'em and plenty of mountin grease.

Ben,
Excellent point....we should have mentioned it earlier.....both the RaceCar and Battlestar were on brand new, not even heat cycled tires (I know one of my front tires still had the sticker on it). I know it took me two runs to start getting the tire pressures dialed in - even then, they were barely warm at the end of the 4th heat. There is definitely much more there for both cars!

Yeah, such a brief period in time that only 15 cars finished with their "Best time" in that 1.5 second blink

Ah but I didn't give that advice to Dave and I'm sure he figured I was trying to increase your times so he probably stayed on the brake the whole way through.
