There's a rumor it's the next STi. It would be a great rally car IMHO. I would buy one if they produced it and put it in the STi price range.

As for the H-8... Try this on for size...

that '12 cyl would look nice as a replacement for my useless trunk and back seat... build it more like a delorian and do the rear engine 2 seater thing....

as for another kick ass option id do for a SVX... sliding doors (like a minivan) itd be cool just stop the car and the doors slide towards the rear of the carwith that neat rumble the vans have when you slide them shut (i never tire of that sound) infact id make it seem all hydraulic and pressurised by adding some smoke effect to trigger as pull the handle from the inside to get out... kinda like when the predator or darth vader took the mask off in the movies

thatd kick soo much ass... itd even have that "PA-CHSHHHH" sound for the dramatic enterance...

yeah thatd ruin hondas #$%#$% good

id also back the spoiler up to be flush with the trunk line... no stupid giant spoiler wing... jsutthe stock slid back the 2 inches or so

teach me to stop paying attention for a year or so...
I just watched the videos on edmunds, all the gaps filled in now!
The critique was good... "the charger should be a 2 door, it should have a 6 speed", yada yada... welcome challenger. It might actually make it.

I saw 5 or 6 of those interceptors lined up in the back lot of a dealership in maine and was all like "ohhnos".

your not far from here, next time your in nh look for the charger police cruiser in canaan on rt 4 near the speedway

and yeah if youve ever been up close to one they are super bulky its like it ate a smaller car for breakfast...like a miata... or an S2000

i dont care for the interior though, reminds me of luggage, all rubberised and uninviting like dodge took stock in tupperware... riding in one (or most any new dodge/chrystler/jeep) feels like your monday's leftovers

I really hope the rumors are true and that truly is the next STi concept. Subaru needs something to take on the Evo X and regain it's edge in the WRC.

it needs the SMG tranny if they want my money.

better styling wouldn't hurt, either, but the demise of the urinal face corporate styling is a step in the right direction....

Yeah, a dual clutch gearboc would be great in a car like that.

Havent noticed any of those charger cruisers, but I will be looking out for them. Next time I visit my parents in Parker, I will let you know if I see any new cruisers around.

the EVO X is getting it, so the STi really needs it to compete.

The "SuperAWD" vehicle dynamics and a bunch of other crazy doo-dads have me thinking it might be my next car unless Subaru counters with something similar. i'd prefer to get another Sube, but we'll see.....

I don't think Subie will lay down and let Mitsu blow by them in the market niche they helped create in the states. Subie also has to keep their eye on the Dodge Caliper SRT4 also with claimed 300hp and AWD. I have a good feeling the next STi will be seperate from the impreza and pretty much slide into the "Alcyone" slot into Subaru's line up and carry on the tradition of a flag ship in Subaru's product line.
