that wastegate/blow off valve sounds a lot like the ones on my sr20. almost identical, actually. the engine sounds a lot alike, too.

That chatter is mostly blow off valve. it's a recirculated system (same as mine, though mine is custom) so it fires air straight back into the turbo. the chatter is because it as to flutter a few times to throw all the air out, and keeps a bit of backpressure to keep the turbo spinning whilst it waits for you to finish shifting. it's computer controllled, and mine is mechanical..

So, in closing, i have antilag, too. mine's just not NEARLY as cool.
