Security Module location needed ASAP

Hey all, I am at work right now (Best Buy) having one of the technicians install a new viper 350hv security system, but the technicians can't find what they need. I have done a few searches, and spoken with SVXFiles, and still cannot narrow down what I need for the job. The Tech's seem to think that they have to take apart the dash to get to the security module, which I will not allow them to do. Could someone please respond as quickly as possible, and either give me a resource to look up the information, or give me a description of what to find and where...I have them looking underneath the glovebox right now. Thanks

Speed of response is appreciated!

-Andrew

I'm pretty sure the security module is behind/above the glovebox on '92s and under the package shelf on later models.

It is behind the glove compartment. You have to take off the glove box door and a lot of screws that hold the inner panel (the box itself). You will see the two bolts that hold the security module to the mounting bracket.

document type?

Hi...I am trying to open this linked file, but cannot determine the app required. I tried word & adobe...no joy. Did we lose this doc after the recent hardware upgrade?

That file (14371) is a jpg. Save it to your PC and rename it to have the extension .jpg

Then you can view it. It's just the diagram showing the locations of various modules in the SVX.

There are quite a few files in the lockers that lost their extensions. .jpg is a good bet to try first. .gif is a good one to try second.
