Power steering whine

Yeah it whines like a high pitched moan, loud at idle and louder when I turn. It doesn't sound right. I tightened my p/s tensioner because it would squeal like a dying pig on a cold startup and I noticed the tensioner can wiggle if I push on it. It's only hanging on by the bolt to tighten it, so I guess that's just how the car was made.. Anyways, could it be a bad pump? Bad pulley bearing? Help, I want this awesome car to be in mint condition and small things like this piss me off.

It is probably the O-ring. This link goes to the How-To Documents and the O-Ring replacement. It is so simple and probably the most comon problem with the steering. Good luck and I hope it cures the problem.

Remember that it uses tranny fluid and not power steering fluid.

Yeah the fluid level is fine and there's no discoloration at all.
Thanks for that link. I wish I could go buy it right now but I'm a third-shifter
