 Just remember to remove the factory supplied rubber tip from the cane, as I hear they're just "packing" tips, & require a "grippier" one, at least until you get your bearings.Welcome home, John - check your cell phone. Ron (leans to the right).

glad to hear all will be well. My father had a stroke that was a little more major about 8 years ago. He pulled through just fine and with your determination to keep your clean, use some of it to stick to your recovery. Good luck and get that SVX back ont he road righ quick!!

Welcome back, John. Wish you recover soon and stay healthy.
Yup, that sounds familiar. This similar case happened to my dad about 8, 9 years ago. Luckily, it was a light one and after one operation, thanks God and my dad has been as healthy. The first thing the doctor asked him was: Did you smoke? Well, yes to my dad but definitely not now. He was determined to quit smoking after that event. Good for him. By the way, John, you're almost same age as my dad. Did/do you smoke?
