I got this replacement from a 92 SVX. I heard that I can put it into my 94 SVX

The problem is that I cannot find any mounting bracket inside trunk nor electric connections for security module which makes me think that the module is in the glove box.

my 94 was a fwd but i had the dual airbags, sunroof and alot of the upgrades (aside from not having awd it was basically an lsi.... the security module was not in the trunk but i did have the opening for it (funny thing is i was told by a stereo installer thats where the amplifier was kept... and to put new speakers in would have cost $500 because of all the wiring... i told him he was an idiot and i did the speakers myself... i only asked for a quote out of curiosity.

so the answer is the security module is NOT an amplifier.

my 94 was a fwd but i had the dual airbags, sunroof and alot of the upgrades (aside from not having awd it was basically an lsi.... the security module was not in the trunk but i did have the opening for it (withte little tabs).... funny thing is i was told by a stereo installer thats where the amplifier was kept... and to put new speakers in would have cost $500 because of all the wiring... i told him he was an idiot...that space was empty (i showed him)...and should be fired... he insited thats where the amp went... i told him to look it up when his head came out of his butt... then i went home and i did the speakers myself... i only asked for a quote out of curiosity and i didnt wanna deal withthe drilling of the welds i encountered in my 92 door speakers... (such a pain in the ass) fortunately... i didnt have that problem.... $500...plus parts... what a tool.

so the answer is the security module is NOT an amplifier.
