There should be a number on the top of the bell housing, driver's side, right behind the engine. Post it here and someone might be able to look it up for you, tell you what vehicle it came from...

As long as you don't get on it too hard, it will last a long time.

STi Grp N tranny and engine mounts are the way to go. Tranny mount bolts right up, but the engine mounts require a custom-made 1/4" thick adapter plate to put the engine at the proper height.

Lot's of places sell the Group N mounts. Try Nino's Auto Accessories, Gruppe-S, Rallispec, Oakos, etc... Expect to pay around $60-$70 for the tranny mount, and $120 for the engine mounts. Make sure you get Group N mounts and not standard STi mounts.

I've been living with the stock version of that tranny in my SVX for over a year now without issue. I'm using stock flywheel/clutch. I've done several hard shifts and autocrossed as well. No issues.

coo. thx guys for the info, im ordering my sti tranny mounts on friday so maybe i'll stick with the stock flywheel and see how that turns out. unless i come across parts for dirt cheap(like my 5speed conversion kit i spent $100.00 and it only has like 200 miles on it .) i am not to having a transmission shop do it so that will save me some money.

You might just have the cheapest 5 speed conversion out there. I know Huck did his for under 1k but if u can pull it off under 500 my hat is off to ya.
