If that house (first post) was for sale where I used to live in Florida, Port Charlotte, it would sell for like $30-$40k.

price comparisons! These are from my home town

Here's our $1,000,000 home
$5,000,000 home
$6.5 mil house



[Edit: nevermind- you won't find a house like that on beachfront property, or even with a view of water. And I love the comment, "built on solid rock". As opposed to what?]

$1M home and $5M home are really nice
but the $6.5M home.....wtf???? who do the interiors....Britney Spears? the designer should be shot; its gonna cost at least that much to tear it all out and start over. yuck

Obviously...

The garage owner has no sense of what a garage is supposed to be. Where is the beer 'fridge and the Hooters posters? And the 'Uh, oh, here comes the wife' flashing red light above the door? The Swisher rack and pizza oven? Are visitors supposed to just stand with their hands in their pockets? Damn! That guy has no class.

But, if that house was on the waterfront in Lake Sammammish... It would probably near the SF price.
