Its a 360 Van. They were imported in the mid- late 60s by Malcolm Brinklin prior to SOA being here. Sold about 2000 or so I think of vans, trucks and sedans. It had a 360 aircooled 2 stroke engine. Top speed about 65mph. Very cool but impossible to get parts for. $5800 seems quite high to me esp if it isn't perfect. Interestingly enough they still make the platform (called the Sambar in Japan). It would make one kick butt lawn vehicle if they sold it over here through their Robin distributors. No need for one of those crappy Mules and the like when you can have a Subie!!! Try searching for the sambar on yahoo or the like you'll get some cool pics to drool over.

Good thing those post WW2 japanese people were short. I'd have to ride in the back like in Police Academy 2 to get my 6'1 1/2" body in that 360 coupe.

360's are cool
You should see what one of the NASIOC guys in Atlanta is doing. He took out his 360 motor and is putting in a Suzuki Hiabusa engine!!!! It's gonna have a custom suspension, made from motorcycle parts. Autocross track is gonna be terrorized by that little thing!! He also has a Porsche 914 that he put a Subaru 2.5 RS engine in... That should make for some fun, huh??
