I once got mine to fishtail. But this was when my tires where bald. I had the car in first, and I gunned it right at the apex of a left turn and it broke loose. It was freaking awesome!

I got an AWD burnout once when I accidently neutral dropped my SVX at 6K rpm (was going at a crawl and knocked into neutral, revs shot up and w/o thinking, I stuck it back in drive) .... it was a beautiful burnout... and I also shattered my flexplate too. '

but... HOORAY FOR BURNOUTS!

It seems to be impossible to spin a wheel in a VTD SVX.

The Justy wouldn't do it either, even with a 6K clutch drop on a snow covered road. .

Our Legacy, which has the US-SVX-style AWD (I think) will fishtail if you floor it on snowy roads.

Phil.

I find the same thing too Phil. The Liberty/Legacy,2.2 with transfer clutch AWD that I drive, does strange things, that the VTD SVX does not. The Liberty does not like the power to be applied in a corner, it hesitates, dies then goes. The VTD SVX .just GOES, No change in attitude or handling, just more GO.

Harvey.
