When 2 isn't enought

Its funny....I'm sitting here working on a large job, realizing that 2 monitors just ain't enough...starting to think that I need to upgrade to 3 and pick up a 3 head video card. Gawd

I just bought the best 2 head vid card I could afford 7 months ago thinking 'why would I need 3 or 4 heads'.

*sigh*

a pci video card will work
any old pci vga card that can handle the rez your running on the monitor

you can have as many screens as you have pci slots

so go pick up a 20 dollar pci card that can handle decent resolution and don't drop hundreds on a different card

I know what you mean, Harold. I've been using dual monitors for years and they're not enough for me. I need them in a 360-degree array around my head.

Practically everybody in my office has dual monitors and a TV on their desks. It's a lot of CRT noise, heat and static to deal with.

so it will work just fine w/ 2000 and an ATI card?

That's what I've been needing recently....so much so that I want the reflection of the monitors in my glasses

Instead of multiple monitors I wouldn't mind having a 3d desktop. You can't focus on more than one monitor at a time anyway.
