Thumbs up

No offense guys but everytime I see this clip I have to say this.

Junkyard Wars: There was an episode a couple of seasons ago where they did 2 of those in 2 days and fought each other.

Around 1999, I saw on CNN International that in Germany they already developed a car that can drive it self in the Autobahn. It was really cool. Also the same concept car was made in Japan a year ago. The Japanese also studied the road in the US and said it can not be done in the US since the system uses the lines on the road and reflectors on the side heavily to stay in the lanes and the lane markers in the US did not meet the requirments.

The RC car was hysterical. I've seen people run an engine to death, like they did, before. But since these guys were obviously Toyota fans, it was somehow okay to me.

I wasn't able to get the pocket bike video.

If you like vids like this check my locker, I just put a bunch in there. I *think* they're all work appropriate.

Cable

Hi Harry, Why not get satellite service? We have Dish Network. You can get the setup free with a one year commitment. You can also get a HDTV setup but this is new and i'm not sure what the deal will be. We have had out Dish setup since 1997. The same year I got my SVX. We have Dish 150, which gives you about 180 channels. This allows me to watch NASCAR. CART, F-1, and World Rally Championship. Take care, BOBB

I agree with Bobb. Satellite is the way to go, in my opinion. My mom has Dish, but having tried that, I like my DirecTV better.

One of those vids convinced me I need a Subaru. I live in snow country but yet I don't have a suitable car for playing in the snow. So basically I want a 2.5RS now, since I can't quite afford a WRX. I could always throw a Turbo kit on later and make it close to a WRX I guess. I have an insane urge to do some snow drifting now...

hey guys, to get that pocket bike video go to http://spankdog.kicks-ass.net/videos/ and pick the killboy one. if you are not familiar with the pocket bikes, they are mini bikes that look like sportbikes. they can go up to 55mph i believe. i was at a meet where one wrx'er brought their pocketbike (a ducati replica) and was offering it for other subbie owners to ride on. it was funny, especially when 1 wrx'er pulled up to a red mustang and started reving the bike.

pockets/bobb - i'd get cable or satellite, but i rarely ever watch tv. only time the tv's on is when i have a dvd for it . then again if there was something worth watching, maybe i would get cable/satellite + a tivo. ah...well see......

upngimp - 2.5rs rocks. i rode in a few and they rock. one of the ones i rode in could easily keep up with an experienced wrx drivers in autocrosses and lost some wrx'ers on the dragon.

Yup, I love them. I'm hoping to find a 2000 2.5RS sedan. Then said turbokit, and it becomes a lot more fun. 212HP to the wheels....yum.
