I know he's dead. But I'm a die hard fan, and I know he's not coming back, the movie was a documentary kind of thing of his life, I suggest some of you guys go see it and then you'll realize there's more to him then you really care to admit to. I mean they have candle light vigils on other continents for this guy 7 years after his death, I'm sure I'm not the only one fascinated by him. Also colleges are now starting to teach courses about him, and about his life, and his impact on society. He's the man.

I would drop a class that "taught" the inner thoughts of tupac.

So his standpoint on civil rights isn't worth listening to? He tells it how it is, police brutality, poverty, crime, just because it's not sugarcoated doesn't mean it has less value. He was also a poet, obviously you've never listened to him or even thought of it, if you don't know anything about what you're talking about then why bother saying anything?
He fought for black people, he was a leader in his community, if he was just another "thug" no one would care. Also, in the movie, he touches on why he says that he is a thug, a nigga, etc. Because that is what society views black people as, thugs and criminals. Someone wears a bandana or says some offensive words is suddenly the scum of the earth, and his death is now mocked by inconsiderate people. He was someone's son, brother, role model. Not everybody sees things like this, but certainly you have to agree that people do push people aside because they are less fortunate, and the fact that even their skin is a different color. Watch the movie, maybe you'll learn something about this country while you're there.
If he was just another person no one would care, and no one would still listen to his music 7 years after his death, and no one would have produced a movie depicting his life. He came from the gutter and came out on top, and was determined to help people that were in simiilar predicaments. sp?, idk, obviously you don't see past swears and the beat so you'll never really understand.
Get your ass kicked by a crooked cop, be wrongfully accused, live in the ghetto with nothing, and come out up top, one of the most well known musicians ever, a role model to many people, young black people, and even .....oh no, not white people liking rap music!! . He is among the top ten deceased money makers, I think that proves that he means something. Alot of his albums went platinum, many times over in fact, but he's just another gangster i guess. with nothing positive to give out.
Read his poetry, or some of his lyrics, then maybe you can realize that he isnt all about whatever you assume he is, take a look at subtext and metaphors, maybe something will dawn on you.

Also, I don't care for feedback on my grammatical errors and what not, this is not english class. Prove a point if you're going to diss something you think you have knowledge of.

Obviously you're too stubborn to realize that rap is music. If it weren't then why would it be on the billboard charts? Do some research and check to see how many albums of his went platinum, and then check again, and see how many went over three times platinum. Thank you.
