Bad Bearings - in the front?
Has anyone had front wheel bearings go bad? I replaced the rear bearings 6 months ago, but lately I've been hearing what sounds to me like a bad bearing, but coming from the front of the car. I haven't heard of anyone else's front bearings going bad in the SVX.

If your car has over 60K, it would be good preventative maintenance to "open" the seal on each wheel, top up with the correct grease, and re-torque with a new and pretty cheap outer seal. I reckon the main cause of failure is distorted seals letting the lubricant away, with a lot of heat from the rotors then speeding up the process of destroying the dry bearing. Joe
