Ha ha, I hope the guy still checks out this site and is starting to sweat. Remember, we have your old car we can find out where you live.

Anyway rear bearings came form 1stsubaruparts.com Jason was real easy to work with and I reccomend the place to anyone who needs parts that a "part-out" won't cover.

I got wheels, tires, bearings, floormats, and a remote on friday, took it all to Subafreaks Watched him install my custom exhaust. (sounds sick...in a good way). he pulled the CEL code (24) while I cleaned up the interior a bit. I'll need to have the tires (Wanli 225/40/zr18) mounted to the rims (18x8.5 Halo sold for the price of 17,s from a cat in Florida) and get the special lugs.
We took the car for a ride....it SCREWS but in a move that will stay pretty high on my "idiot moves" list I....well lets just say I am trying to order a bumper from Steve, and ifanyone has a left front fender. preferably black let me know.

Well the car now has it's rebuilt p.s. rack and pump all filled up and no leaks. Built a Magnaflow 2.5inch single exaust on it. Ran it up to temp to fill the radiator and find out whats setting the CE lite (code 24 air bypass valve) and took it for a short exciting test drive. It ran really strong and sounded good till we ran out of road. Oh well it needed a repaint anyways.

Fortunatly not the utility pole. I'll have to get some pics and see how far up the wire the paint marks go. It felt like it lifted a good foot of the ground. Surprisingly minor damage, the SVX has a pretty strong front bumper, we had some speed going to.

I had my svx off the ground at the last NESVX. I went a little to fast over some railroad tracks and i bottomed out my front end. The A frame mounts and headers slamed the ground. So lets just say that I'm not going to don't that again.

Allright I ordered the idle air control valve today from my new friend Jason over at 1st subaruparts.com I also got new break pads, rotex golds, anyone ever use them? Also I have the fender on the way and I'm kinda in a toss up between Steves bumper and a stock one as I really want the Japanes front lip spoiler ( http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil...r_007/7779.jpg )
The sad part is that junkyards are selling bumpers for more than a new one .
Well I guess i put a 2 week setback on the project but hey doing stupid things tends to get one punished.

Steve's bumper SO MUCH NICER! (wish i had some extra cash) it'll send more air to your tranny cooler, too.

I'm not going with tranny cooler anymore since I want to go 5 speed but I wasn't planning it until I "need" a new tranny so I'm not going to do anything to help the tranny last.

Well tonight (in a bit of a step backwards), I removed the front bumpers, lights, and left front fender, in anticipation of the strait parts. Speeking of strait, I don't know if the car was like this before but with the bumper off you can tell that the left side of the frame is about 2inch higher than the right. Time to bust out the chains and jack. I also noticed tonight that the rear speakers apparently wern't screwed in becouse they just about came through the rear covers, that would have been nice, getting cracked in the back of the head by a 6x9.

Tonight I fixed the front widows so close all the way, painted the cowl back to black, and played with the Armorall cleaner. Some interestings things, the front door speaker holes are cut out to fit an 8inch sub or something that didn't belong in there, and the toggle switches on the center consol splice in to wires comming out of the TCU. So it is posible they were to 1. switch it to FWD, 2. by pass the resistor, and 3. force it into power mode.

Tommorow night I would like to install the new ABV if I get it! Where are you Shane? Where are the parts?
