Raybestos ProStop Elite Brake Pads

I just put a set of these on my Explorer and was amazed at how the braking was improved (I was prepping it for selling and wanted quick, easy, and fairly cheap).

Has anyone ever used these on an SVX, or have any long-term experience with them?

Ray Pros Elite

I had 'em on my SVX from 94k to 102k. Went back to OEMs after they didn't pass the 6 month test. I didn't really notice much of a difference between those and stocks though.

You mean to say that you only got 8000 miles out of a set of brake pads. I consider that to be very very poor and I don't know how you drive.

8000 on brake pads

Yeah, 8k was pretty poor. I changed the pads on my impreza at 90k so I don't really think its my driving habits.

If they only lasted 8k I'm glad I sold the truck.

Unfortunately, the buyer was my stepson, so I may be hearing about this sometime in the future.

Thanks for the info, benebob.
