exhaust manifold flange stud size?

Quick question guys.
I've been searching these forums for the size and thread pitch of the exhaust manifold flange studs. I'm frankensteining my 92 and 95 together to get back on the road. of course these studs are rusted and snapped off. I am finding for other subies that they use m10 X 1.25 is this correct?

Thanks for the help!

Correct, just like all other subies, M10x1.25. You can get new studs at the dealer cheap, they are the same as all the EJ exhaust studs.

Re: exhaust manifold flange stud size?

If you have to drill out a broken stud be VERY careful. The drill will want to wander into the soft aluminum very easily. A tip for getting broken studs out of the aluminum block, if there is still a bit sticking out, weld a nut onto the piece of stud sticking out, it wont weld to the aluminum, and while welding it will heat up the stuck stud, then right away use a wrench and spin out the stud.

Ive done both ways, I had to drill out 4 and helicoil them before I got a welder while lying on the ground under the car, talk about tiring and time consuming.
