flywheel resurfacing

does anyone know for the 6spd flywheel if the mounting points for the pressure plate need to be brought down too?

shop said it would be different by 16thou

Had mine resurfaced, it's no issue. As long as the nominal thickness of the flywheel is within tolerance it will work correctly.

fyi, according to exedy, an sti flywheel is 14.6mm +/- 0.1mm
