Re: Power Locks Not Working

you can see in this video where the actuator is at inside your door. you can't see the actuator itself but can see its location by the rod going to your door lock. you will have to remove the door panel to mess with it.

I've had my panel off several times, but idk how to get to the actual actuator, does the lock have to be removed completley to get to it?

I just have a feeling if I start messing around with the lock; that I will have parts that I wont know how to put back in..... I know that from experience I know I get water inside my doors because I have to change my speakers every year from corrosion; I am not certain but I have to assume the actuator is just bad, thanks for the info; if anyone else has any experience with this please fill me in

Thanks,

Re: Power Locks Not Working

it's normal to get water in your door, you should check if the drain hole is plugged up

It may be, but when I painted my car, I drilled 5 holes in the bottom of each door for drainage, and those work as I can see the draining on the inner door piece; I just bought a set of waterproof speakers for the door; Now if I can just get this lock think working itll be all good
