FWD Subaru Transmissions that Fit SVX

Cant remeber had a brain fart is it the Legacy that has the FWD that well work in the SVX and is there any others that well work? Thanks

An Impreza will fit, but some of the early FWD Imp's would need a different axle. So it's best to sick with a Leg.

I'm using a 2005 WRX all wheel drive with the rear drive removed and a locking spool in its place. The locking set up is made by Bremar in Austraila.
Looks like this would be pretty easy to make.

There's a 93 fwd legacy 5 spd local to me in a pick n pull... 123k miles, was a donation car so it ran and drove when it arrived. Shifter linkage all seems solid when shifted into all positions. I know I'm far away, but shipping freight I've heard would be about $150 if you are interested at all...

I think he's looking for a FWD 4EAT that will fit...and for that any Impreza or Legacy FWD will fit 90-96
