Made it to the desert....
Left Oregon on monday, foggy, damp, rain around the corner...arrived in Palm Springs tuesday PM, 100 degrees... the wife's SVX has been sitting in the garage since the end of June, battery disconected, baking in the the high temps. Hooked up the battery, engine starts just like it was run yesterday....took it on a 20 mile errand,,,,smooth, no hicups, burps, stalls or check engine lites...sweet machine...no wonder we love these cars....

David - Good to see you made it! Enjoy the weather down there.
Did you drive your SVX down, or do you leave it up in OR?

drove the pickup
we haul a load each time we come to the desert...so my SVX stays in the garage in Manzanita. Karen's SVX has been here since 2000.
If you are able to come down this winter we'll give you the 2 cent orientation.. Our house is in the first stages of demolition, we are camping out in the half of the house still standing. Weather is good, lots of sun and warm temps. I had an encounter with a large scorpion this AM, It lost...nasty buggers...
