1.2 pints, or .6 liters per the service manual.

I haven't checked the service manual but will later today. However what you show conflicts with page 10-5 of the 1992 Owners Manual. According to the Owners manual it takes 1.3 Quarts (1.2 liters) in AT differential and .8 Quarts in the rear differential.

Page 9-19 of the Owners Manual lists the viscosity and again the capacities for the AT differential and page 9-21 the same data for the rear differential.

Interesting NOTE: The manual lists 80W/90 for the AT differential and 75W/90 for the rear differential. Of course it provides different weights for different temperature ranges.

You are absolutely right Lee, I checked mine also and it does conflict with the "service manual".

Hopefully he was "thinking with his dipstick" instead of just dumping 1.2 pints in and calling it a day

Ill have to further scrutinize information in that thing from now on, it seems theres an inaccuracy here and there

Re: front diff oil

Front diffs take 5.5 pints, rear diffs take .8 unless the counter on the 75W90 pump at work is off.. But 5.5 pints puts the level on the dipstick at roughly in between the "L" and "F"...
