People who frequent junkyards

What are some key svx items to take off a parts car? I'd like to get some spare parts in case they no longer become available. I'd like to get a windshield but I have no idea how to remove it without breaking it.
I'm also considering pulling the motor but junkyard pulls can suck

My Haul for today:

Pair of blinkers
TPS Sensor
VSS2
Owner's video tape
Storage tray
Spare tire cover
Rear marker light socket
Speedo cluster
H-6 cover
Cruise Switches
Charcoal Canister hose
PS Cap
PS Hose

Re: People who frequent junkyards

Id yank the intake manifold and snatch up the solenoids underneath, as well as the bypass air control valve, plunger, idle air control valve, and the MAF sensor. Coils wouldnt be a bad idea either. Man id love to have a full parts car, id strip it down like a chop shop and have cataloged shelving full of spares. This is assuming the parts are cheap and its free game, of course.

Re: People who frequent junkyards

I'll have to grab the MAF, solenoids and sunvisors. I went for the EGR solenoid but it was to hard to get at. I already have a spare set of headlights in case god forbid my glass ones break. The master window switch was broken, Ill have to see if they are open tomorrow. Thanks for offering to help Dave, I have to check my motivation. How long does an engine pull take with common tools? Shotking, the yard is Anthracite in west Scranton.

Re: People who frequent junkyards

I,ve never seen a crane, so I guess that 1 hour is probably out the window.

Re: People who frequent junkyards

Guys if there is not much trouble, during my last trip home I realized (or remembered when I drove my SVX) that I need few parts that are missing/broken in my car.

Really if there is not much trouble, can I bother you pulling them for me? I am not obligeing or putting anyone in tight spots... just pm me if you can pls.

My brother frequents Anthracite and he loves it. That might be my next stop. We've been pullin alot of parts for my friends Mitsu Mighty Max so the SVXi are safe. If I see cranes or anything else of interest I'll let ya know.
