Interesting tidbit I didn't know about my SVXs(stereo related)
So I have 3. One is completely bone stock, the other 2 not nearly. The stock one in particular a 1994 LSi Ebony Black model I noticed today's stock radio cage has not only one more screw than my other 2 models but they are lower and near impossible to get out.
I might take pics in the morning since all I have right now is my phone and its 3am here. It's very interesting though, I decided that I wanted to put in an aftermarket stereo system in the car after all and had plans of doing it earlier this evening.. however when I went out to look at it I noticed that instead of 1 screw like in my other SVXs(one of them actually of the same year 1994) this had 2 and they were positioned lower. Meaning... how the bloody hell do I get this thing out!? lol. I actually tried googling it and looking it up in the how to section but no dice. Anyone else have this odd SVX and know how to get at the two screws without ruining anything in the process??(my biggest issue is that) Maybe this is just a sign from God saying to leave the stocky alone. |

Re: Interesting tidbit I didn't know about my SVXs(stereo related)
we had difficulty removing the stock stero out of my svx. my 1 was nz new and had the radio and cd player all in one unit.
while my JDM unit has the stero but but has the cd player part with the cd stacker in the boot. i found that easyer to take out
