After doing 12 years of events where the car DIES, I am HAPPY to report that I will NEVER 'rip-to-pieces' another car deliberately!

When I started auto-X, I came to realize that it's kinda NEAT to be able to actually drive the car to work with the numbers on the glass and the sweet fragrance of burning tires still in the upholstry!!
With the OTHER game, there was no windows, upholstry, etc, had to dispose of the dead body, YUCHHH!!

If you don't want to drive it on the street anymore, that's your choice.

Had to chime in here

I've rallyX'd the SVX a couple of times and had great fun doing it. Much less traction lead to some sloppy four-wheel drifts. $5 in quarters after the event got most of the mud out. No broken bits and had a blast.

rally x surfaces are different from area to area too, while one you are racing at may be very hard on the car another won't be as bad..
the one here is a field. and we don't get much rain so no real danger of massive rutting.. plus if it's scca they now change the course mid-day to eliminate the rutting,.

just make sure you get pics... also you are going to be in mod class with the SVX... with all those subaru nuts out there someone will know.

(the main reason I don't have one yet is the auto-tragic)

Yeah, depending on track conditions you are gonna tear the car up pretty badly.....

I took my ebony offroad (only because I was about to pull everything off of it and wanted to see what it would do before hand). I hated the ride home.......those top hats got VERY irratating.

I plan to replace all/alot of the bushings underneath the car with heavier/stiffer ones and a coilover set will be installed aswell. The car still wont be going back onto the dirt unless its a nice big open field.
