Not sure if anyone is aware, but I have few problems with my FWD sticking to the pavement. I do have some nice sticky tires though. And! as for not being a "quick, fun" car, I don't see any need for the AWD if your going "touring at high speeds" sooo....... stop dogging the low end of this car if your going to be so in love with the Awd at the same time. It just doesn't make any sense. none.

I'm not dogging fwd subies at all. I just wish more people here realized they didn't need awd and Subaru realized that a 15-20% fuel economy improvement that fwd option would provide can translate into a bigger piece of the market. Besides, a fwd subie drives quieter and stops quicker anyways!
