Awesome, Phil. Can't wait to see how she does on the dragstrip.

I used a cutoff tool on my dremel. I cut the outer 1/4 inch or so of the whole socket off to start with - basically cut it off right at the point where the little tab that the lock on the harness connector grabs onto begins - leaving that whole tab in place. Then I trimmed off the long outside ridge on one side. Then I trimmed off the 2 outside ridges on either side of the little tab for the connector lock. Then just bend both electrical connector prongs up slightly and you're done. Goes in tight and snaps in place.
I should have taken pictures.

Like I said in another thread, if anyone is having trouble finding these injectors go to sr20forums.com and in the classified forum go under the forced induction forum - they are selling around $85 shipped for a set of 4. Way cheaper than ebay.

+1, i have a li/ion dremel, but it has been sitting for over 2 years and would not charge. Would have been slightly less annoying if i didnt have to use an exacto knife!

I'd like to turbocharge my SVX sometime sooner or later.

Seems like its one of the easiest cars to do it on!! lol

ecutune 2v7 plus injectors and maf
turbo and intercooler plus oil feed lines, etc...
custom exhaust stuff and piping

Throw a wideband and some extra gauges (which are laying around anyways) and that seems like about it. lol

As long as you know how to weld, you're good to go!

Sure, there's always more hassle than you think, but on the whole it seems like it would be taken care of. Maybe not though, call me crazy. *shrug*
