To paint or not to paint?
So after getting a new tranny in my svx and a good washing, I thought to myself, now may be a good time to get those 2 door dings on each side removed and repainted.
What do you guys think? Poll incoming. Crap I forgot a color, the dark purple that looks almost black. Last edited by Noir; 07-01-2007 at 03:09 PM. |

The stock color for the 92? Claret? or are you thinking of a different color all together?

Well... if you're prepared to do a GOOD job on a colorchange, and disassemble the whole car pretty significantly, go for it! I like seeing SVXs in non stock colors, as long as it isn't garish. Edit: I think a BRONZE/GOLD SVX with black wheels would be pretty hot, if done right.

like Dayle's pewter/gunmetal, black, or dark purple that looks almost black. oh yeah...here's dedication: i decided to wash my car today for the hell of it. pulled up to one of those coin-to-use pressure washer type car-wash booths...just my luck, it started to rain heavily..i just carried on getting soaked and having a blast scrubbing the wheels. stopped 25 minutes later and I dried off the car and applied teh wax and reversed her for a supervac. after i sprayed down teh windows with that nice pressurized nonstreaky window cleaner, i went for a good 50 mile drive around atlanta. had lots of fun. tomorrow will be leather conditioning day and armor-alling the plastics, then rainX. she looks brand new now. gunmetal, or all platinum silver. think of all the swirl marks your lazy ass won't have to deal with.
....or bass-boat orange.
