Thumbs up

Pretty cool work, dao, nice one!

On a technicality, this GC8 alone could not qualify you as an SVX "owner" [unless you have the rest of the car ].

However, you must surely be an SVXer at heart.

Good work.

Joe

Hiya,

Good looking conversion, I have seen the SVX engine put into JDM Forrester's it should go very well in a lighter prezza.

One thing I think your going to find a problem with is your induction choice, the prezza has very poor engine bay cooling & airflow and all open type cone filters lose power, I had an HKS system put on my STI type r and it lost 24bhp over the stock airbox & filter and induction temp rose by 29 degrees! & that was with an intercooler & auto water spray.
I see yours is right over the manifolds & I'm sure will suffer even more so than standard.

Have you thought about getting a wrx/sti hood with the intercooler vent to add airflow and cooling and a JDM cold air feed from either the grille or through the inner wing?

PM me if you want some info on bits and ideas, I have had allot of involvement with moddified prezza's over the last 5 years.

Darren.

may want to reconsider the welds on the intake... other than that looks like a solid conversion... nice job... you are going with a turbo right?? otherwise I would ditch that intake all together as it will not flow well
