Is it just me or does you're garage slope towards the SVX. If so might wanna move that pony to the SVX side. Looks nice, full maint records with her?

Then it sound like a good purchase. I've seen too many ponies run through Manheim Auto Auction sell for peanuts that have no history. My guess is they end up costing 2x as much as buying a good one and have a lower value since it still doesn't have its full service history.

They're what about $9k a year just to own and maintain? Worth every penny though!

Just got back from driving it around the block, the tubi exhaust sounds more than amazing.Everyone that I've talked to who own them pay about 2k every year on maintance. Every 5 years the motor needs to be pulled and they change all seals and belts, that costs about 6k. It was done on our car in July 06.

2k sounds quite cheap for maint alone but of course that varies from garage to garage like crazy! Remember though that 9k is for storage, detailing, gas, insurance and all. A guy I used to work with rebuilds the junk 308s and tells me that proper maint alone on one of those averages out to be about 5k for every 10k driven. She's definately a looker and will bring you plenty of enjoyment I'm sure!!!

Mr. Tony - it is indeed a beautiful car. I hope you get plenty of enjoyable time behind its wheel. I apologize for any offense my earlier comment may have produced. I'll let this be my last post in this thread, as Mr. "I must have the last word" Landshark continues to pollute the thread with his obviously adolescent comments that he takes such pride in inflicting on the members of this network.

Beautiful car, enjoy that sucker!

i'd love an Italian ride, but they're too needy - i'd rather drive 'em than maintain 'em (i'm lazy).

if i ever hit the Powerball, though.......
