External ATF Filter?
Hi,
I am looking for an external ATF filter. At present I am having Permacool filter which I previously used with my stock tranny. But after that I haven't replaced that at the time i installed 4.44's (now i am not using it). Can we get the replacement oil filter from any place other than SummitRacing or anyone having a spare one or is there any other brand which I can get easily from an autostore which fits in? thanks, -Pavan. Well according to the decal that came with my permacool filter kit you can use.
Standard fit 5-1/4" Length AC PF2 Fram PH8A Lee LF1 Motorcaft FL1A NAPA(wix) 1515 ( I've got this one on my car right now) Purolator PER1A Permacool 81008 Tight fit 3-1/2" Length AC PF13 Fram PH43 Lee LF16 Motorcaft FL173A NAPA(wix) 1068 Purolator PER17 Permacool 81043

I got the same info with mine. That is what I like about it. You can get the replacement filters just about anywhere.

I think if you got to the PermaCool site, they have a list of distributers that sell them.
I would use any of the others listed that are compatable.
