Question anyone tried it?

has anybody given this resistor mod a try?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUBAR...QQcmdZViewItem i've heard it works and it makes sense to me that it might. anyone know what the resistance value is there using?

A bit hard to see the colours,,,,,,,,but looks like yellow/voilet/red/silver = 4.7kOhms 10% 1/4 watt. Can't see where they are fitting it. The air temp sensor is inside the Air flow meter.
