Ebay contact info

So I bought a seat cover for my new truck off ebay last week. Got it and it is ripped on the seam and is missing the attaching strings. Emailed the guy who refunded my money. Today I get a TKO notice from Ebay saying someone or me used my account fraudantly. They want a ton of info like bank routing numbers and the like which I will not provide over the internet. Anybody have a clue how to call ebay??????????????

What a load of crap.

Ebay will not ask for your bank info. The email you received is a scam. I have received the same message and it looks very, very real. If you follow the link, you will see it redirects you to a site other than Ebay, but the page looks exactly like Ebay.

Forward the message (don't forget to paste in the headers) to fraud@ebay.com

They don't really have the time to track each message down, but at least the ball's in their court.

Just remember, No online account holder will ever contact you asking you to verify your information.

If you think the message may be legitimate, don't follow the link. Instead close the message, open your browser and go directly to the web site. If they truly are asking for information, you will be alerted after you log in.

I would guess it's a scam. They're trying to convince you that somebody else used your account fraudulently so they can use your account fraudulently.

Making emails that look official and from eBay, BankOne, etc is a common scam. I think that's what you have there.

ITS A SCAM!!!!! Same thing happened to me and ebay suspended my account because they didnt want anyone who might have gotten the info to buy things with my money. Talk to DearPrudence on the network...she works in that dept of ebay and straightened it out for me.
