Non touring 92?

What else was omitted from the non touring 1992 model aside from a spoiler? Or could it be a touring model just sans spoiler?

According to http://www.cars101.com/subaru_svx.html the Touring Package on a 92 included:

- Leather package: seating surfaces, steering wheel, shift lever, parking brake handle
- Power drivers's seat, 8 way
- Power sunroof
- Electronic vehicle speed sensitive power assisted rack and pinion instead of engine sensitive. Vehicle speed sensitive is much more accurate and responsive for precise driving.
- Stereo: 6 speaker, AM/FM/Cassette/CD
- Heated outside mirrors

Block heater and rear deck spoiler were listed as Optional components for both models, and CD Player was optional for the non-touring.
Hope that helps!

I think the block heater was standard on both models back in '92. It just went by the name of 'transmission' and was nestled right at the back of the engine!

Even the Canadian SVX's didn't come standard with block heaters. I installed one myself though.

I've got the touring package, no block heater though. It must've really been an option.

It's on the bottom of the engine near the front on the driver's side.

You could mount the engine on the trunk and make it a rear-engine, RWD.
