Why? More ground clearance and cargo area? You did know the SVX is AWD right?

It was AWD. And although I don't have your Loyal's ground clearence I needed a bigger vehicle with true off road ability. The Pathfinder was very highly ranked by off road magazines for mid size SUV's. Better then the exploader and TrailBlazer. Consumer Reports ranks the Pathfinder and 4Runner at the top of thier list. I almost bought a 98 4Runner with 58k on it, but 4 months later I got my 99.5 Pathfinder with 32k on it for less!!!

Sounds like a good buy. I got nothing againsed the Pathfinder or the 4Runner, good SUV's. Thank god you didn't get an Exploder or Trailblower. (Esp. an Exploder)

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

i'll sell the SVX to cover repairs, and keep a bicycle in the trunk for the inevitable breakdowns.
