ECU and TCU Codes
ok... I did the ECU and TCU Diag's Today
(before i go have my DRIVER Side Ball Joint Replaced Sence it sounds the same as the passanger side did) Anyway.. First let me note #1 I've just had my SVX for about a month now, and right when I got it, The Speedo would only work if I was accelerating. Now it doesnt work 99.9% of the time every once in awhile it will jump, but only for a moment. ANYWAY.. Now that you know what my speedo is doing... mabey someone can give me a clue of what I can do about these Codes: ECU: 37 - Oxy Left 32 - Oxy Right or Circut 24 - Air Control Valve or Circut 33 - VSS or Circut TCU 33 - VSS 2 The Oxy left/right im not to worried about at this moment as I know you seem to always have to replace those. But how do I look more into the ACV or VSS. Has anyone had these codes, and what did you do to correct them.. Mabey I can get my Speedo to work for once! LOL Im just happy that 2,000rps = 60mph 1500 is around 40 I think... and thats how i've been reading my speed LOL Any info would be helpful! Thanks in Advanced P.S. I TRIPPLE Checked each code to make sure i wrote it correctly.

VSS2 is the speed sensor that feeds the speedo and several other things.
If you put your hand down the back of the engine on the passenger side (for LHD cars). There is a small oval plug (B9) below and behind the two fat square ones. If you remove it, it is yellow inside and has three wires. The signal wire is the yellow one with a red stripe. This thread may help you: http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...threadid=12278 As you are getting codes from the TCU and ECU, I would hazard a guess that your problem is the sensor, the gear which drives it or the B9 connector. |

Sounds like the drive gear for the VSS is broken. I believe several SVX's have become victim to that.

What about ECU Code 24 - Air Control Valve or Circut
Any idea what could be causing that one?
