I hate to hear that Subaru is slacking in the quality department.
It really bothers me that both 2.5L designs have head gasket issues, the 2.2L in my Loyal has 200K all original and I'm running boost on it now without any problems. Maybe they should just stick 2.2L Turbos in all the cars? They never should have stopped putting turbos in there cars.

I hope the new Legacy is as reliable as it is good looking, I don't think Subaru has been main stream long enough to start selling crappy cars on a good reputation, (ie. Toyota) they need to keep making the way they always have, like they give a damn.

i had a 2000 legacy gt limited and it might have been the quietest car i ever owned. i bought it new and drove it for 46k miles and never had any problems with it except for the coating peeling off the door moulding. unfortunately, i traded it for the 2000 impreza.

Toyota makes crappy cars? I haven't bought a Toyota recently, because now I'm all hung up on AWD, but everything I see suggests that they're just as dependable as they've always been. I did see something about the V6 in the 4Runner giving some people problems, but other than that they seem to be building reliable cars.

I guess there still OK but I don't like the Camerys. There ugly and very uncool and do have quite a few little problems that make me not suggest them as good cars to buy. They also made the few complaints about the GT-S even worse by lowering the redline and not fixing the gearing. Maybe if they would make an All-Track version of the Celica I would like them again. I do like there trucks thoe, the TRD versions are the bomb.
