Supercars.net Website

I don't know if anyone else reads Supercars.net (http://www.supercars.net) but there is something that bugs me. The site features cars like the 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo SS (FWD, V-6, etc). Aside from that being a disgrace to the label SS, why is the SVX not even on the site?!! This just bugs me and I thought I might share it.

Not been there

and doubt I will if they consider a Monte Carlo a supercar

That barely qualifies for a rental car.

hmm-maybe SS stands for super slow in this case?

a guy at work was telling me how cool his new Impala SS was - i just smiled and nodded. he said he had a '97 and it was about time to get a new car before it died. then i told him i bought a '97 a year-an-a-half ago and told him it will probably last well over 200,000 miles. he said " "

I've written to the guy who runs that site a few times about that. He's never replied. I gave up and stopped visiting the site. Todd's right - not worth it if he considers the Monte Carlo a 'supercar.'

Now, to be quite clear, I don't consider the SVX a 'supercar.' I do consider it sort of exotic, though.

Car buyers like that are the reason American car manufacturers get away with making such **** cars. They're convinced that a car can't go over 70k miles. They're sold easily on lists of features (oooh, this one has a CD player, so I'll buy it, even though it has a tendency to catch on fire). They get sold on the f***ing Chevy Venture Warner Brothers Edition, even though the IIHS has given it poor safety ratings.

Perhaps, the site need a new name. Granted, many cars on it are "super cars" but there are too many mediocre cars. I was just thinking, that if a ****ty Camaro and Monte Carlo can make it, surely this car could.

Did I leave anything out?
