well.. do you think that the fact that i'm running an underdrive pulley could have an impact on that?

i'm told that if you run an underdrive pulley, it's a good idea to do the "alternator wiring mod" which i haven't yet done..

i recently pulled my alternator out and had it bench-tested (i thought it was the culprit for a different problem) and it performed flawlessly, so i'm not positive that it's an actual problem with the alternator itself, i think it might just be that it's not getting QUITE enough "spin" from the crankshaft..

any thoughts?

The last time my alternator had problems I couldn't reproduce the problem to show what was wrong. It seemed to just act up whenever it wanted to. I had it bench tested and it was fine. They changed the voltage regulator anyway and it's been fine ever since.
