My SVX got broken into tonight...

I have the imfamous gimpy window switch so my rear drivers window stayed down with out me knowing it. The got all my CD's but luckly the crap ass stock alarm prevented them from getting my fatty system. This all hapened in front of my girlfriends house at midnight, she lives in the best part of the city and there was no car involved, this was all on foot. And to think that I had my Viper alarm removed 3 months ago cause the remote start was messing with the engine diagnostics. Thats the 3rd time in 2 years that my cars have been broken into, first my cougar, then my Bronco (it's top was off) and now my SVX. Which BTW might be for sale or for trade (for a bronco, camping in the X wasn't that fun)

Ya, too bad, getting broken into isn't fun.
But at least you still have the car, and your fatty

Sorry to hear that, Loki. It sucks getting broken into. Makes you feel like you were personally violated.

At least that fatty was prolly to heavy for them to make off with on foot!

I had it happen once. I'd like about 20 mins in a room alone with them. Really makes me furious to hear about that!

At least the loss was minimal.

Speaking of...(Sorry to hear about the break-in!) Does the factory alarm go off if only the doors get opened?

Yes the alarm goes off when you open the door from the inside or outside with the key, after arming with remote, and when you open trunk(I do it all the time)

That sucks, but be thankful there is no damage to windows, door locks or the body. That would really suck.
