Found an SUBARU exclusive Junkyard

Many of you know that I am working on a Restoration project with Subafreak on my SVX. This has put me on a relentless path to find parts, fast and at a discounted rate as possible (very motivated but not rich) Any way thanks to some digging I found a place in Waterbury CT that is a Subaru speciality junker/fixer/seller place. Anywayy the place currently has five "junked" SVX's (I wept openly when I saw the Black 92 i picked parts from....but I blamed it on the bright sun). not only do they have the 5 junkers, but they also have quite a bit of spare parts they could unload. The black SVX i as picking at has 4 new rims with 4 new potenza tires the guy has a trailer full of just rims for all Subarus. This was exciting enough to me to discover that even working all night and not sleeping (as I type I am on hour 32) I hopped into my civic and headed out on the two hour trek to aquire some parts.
Whats the point you say...well I'm not sure but It got me to thinking there has got to be more places around like this that my fellow SVXers could benefit from, and there has got to be people who know about them. So I thought that what we could do was really pull all of our resources together and get an expanded links page or something (yes I know we all help each other and really it is great). So if you know of a good place to get parts other than the big three (sube parts, 1st sube parts, and Liberty Subaru) then spill it. You could really be helping out a fellow SVXer. In my case finding this place and pulling from other members made the difference between a parts SVX, and a restored SVX. I'm placing the link bellow, and if you know of a place do the same, no link how about a name and a number, share your piece of pie! Even if it is of no value to you it may be to someone else.

the contact name is Steve, he doesn't list the litle things like buttns or ash trays but he says he has them. If you need me to check something out I'll try and help.

Fand S auto parts they are located at 26 craftwood road in watrebury, the number is 203-597-6724. It was a pain in the ace to find but well worth it!

This is a fantastic idea. Other car discussion groups and clubs have links to great junkyards. Anyone who finds good ones here should post them and then maybe Mike or someone could create a link to the entire list.

There's one outside of Madison that I keep running into in an attempt to get 'lost'.... I can't freaking remember where it is, and whenever I DO come across it, its ALWAYS CLOSED. They have stupid hours like not open weekends, and closed wed or something. Argh. THey have a TON of subies, and old cool 50s cars.

yea the link and your address in waterbury arent the same. Which one is it???

the link and the address don't match because the link shows the address of their whole junkyard and the address I put up is where you can pick up the stuff.

John Eisentrout 301-334-9160 in Oakland MD on rt 39 has used subaru parts, at reasonable prices, but never any for svx's.
